All Coach companies are Not the same
I've been a coach driver for five years or so and before that i was 'On the buses'.
Being freelance I've worked with many different companies across London and the south east and I know which are the best and which to avoid - read on!
In London I've worked for Osterley Coaches, Royale European coaches, Tellings Golden Miller, Armchair and with Westbus and Westway.
Of all of them Tellings and Osterley are to be avoided.
I am not a person who will publicly criticise these companies, but I am giving you the benefit of my experience.
In Surrey and Hants I've worked with Ambassador, Farnham coaches and D&P Coaches, the latter two are to be recommended, though if you want to go abroad, Farnham is streets ahead with highly experienced drivers regularly crossing to the continent.
In Kent I've worked for Kings Ferry, Reliance and Redroute coaches Kings Ferry is of course, one of the best known coach companies in the country, but since its take over from National Express, seems to have focused its interest almost soley on commuter and high profile corporate work. Reliance Travel was a small independent company not to many years ago, but has since been taken over by the Addison Lee group and again appears to have similar aspirations to Kings Ferry. So who caters best for the rest of the market?
Redroute Coaches is a traditional family run business which values your trade as an individual. They have coaches to cater for all events from school buses to luxury double decker coaches. Redroute coaches can arrange transport for your party regardless of size and will actively work with you to ensure your experience is a pleasurable one.
